This policy covers Highbridge Caravan Centre's use of personal information that this web site collects. Why do you want to know my name and e-mail address?


So that we can keep in touch with you, let you know about any great new offers that we think you might be interested in and sometime we may even email you to find out what you think of our site. Any personal information we collect from this web site will be used in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998 and other applicable laws.

 

Credit Card Information


Please do not ever send us credit card details electronically, either by e-mail or through our web site. We will never request credit card details from you electronically. If they are required one of our sales persons will contact you personally by telephone. At present, we do not currently store, or take any credit card details over the internet.

 

Why do you want to know my street address?


So we can send you offers in the post, to include you in our prize draws or to send you any other promotional material.



What other information do you keep track of, about me?


Session information and cookies, these do not include any personal information and are used to

record your preferences about our web site, to customise it to your needs currently we use cookies, to automatically display thumbnail pictures on search results pages and to store some information for the navigation links at the top of each page. In the future we may collect more.

How do you collect information about me


We collect information by different means. Personal information can only be collected when you type it into a form on our site. We also store session data and cookies (this in not personal information) and we use your IP address to research how many unique individuals use our site, but we never associate this with your personal details

Personal information and IP addresses are stored in our secure database. The database can only be accessed by our IT department and all access is monitored and logged. We also store session information in a cookie on your computer, this is non-personal information, and can only be accessed by users of your computer and by our web site whenever you visit (the information cannot be accessed by our website when you are not visiting our site)

Only Highbridge Caravans' web site and marketing team will have access to your information, and we promise to store it securely and treat it sensitively

No, we never have and we never will. We value each and everyone of our customers; you're not worth losing!



What do you do if one of your employees violates my privacy?


We have a very small, close in house team, and this is very unlikely to happen, but if it does, the matter will be investigated by a manager, who is answerable to the Directors of the company. The Manager and Directors will decide what action will be taken

Can I see and change the information you have about me, personally?


By law it is your right to view, amend and delete any information stored about you. We currently don't have facilities to allow you to do this automatically, but if you send us an email requesting your details, we will happily send you what we have stored. The email you send will have to be sent from the email address which you entered while along with the rest of your details, to ensure no one else can gain access to your information. Similarly, if you supplied a postal address when you submitted your details to our site, we will happily post you a print out free of charge (most companies charge for this). Please write to:
